Time Concepts
Past • Present • Future
We are taught and raised within in a linear time construct for our Mind. As child we experience and label events by summers, and school years, one rolled into the next.
The Past
Past memories can become obsessions to understand.
As we build our memory banks the past can take on a life of it’s own. Some of us review past pains in a futile attempt to understand the ineffable WHY.
The Present
Sometime only occurs during a delicious treat, or a puff, or a bet.
Various habits can become short escapes from past and future worries.
The Future
Sometime can become fear obsessions.
We mentally run through the various danger scenarios to game a path through the daunting maze.
A martyr response is also a mind groove.
